'More Than Words'
Program

The Hanen 'More Than Words' program is a 13 week evidence based group program designed to teach caregivers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other social communication needs strategies to help support their child's communication skills through natural interactions.

 

The program will be run by a Hanen certified More Than Words instructor and includes the following sessions:

An information session (2 hours)

A pre-program consultation session with you and your child to set goals for the program (1 hour)

Eight group sessions (2.5 hours each)

Three individual video feedback sessions (1 hour each)

The More Than Words program will be offered via teletherapy and is open to families across British Columbia.
